The Three Pillars
SISU  & Life/ Health Balance
I call my program the The Three Pillars as it it consists of three distinct components, namely Attitude, (Sisu),  Diet and Exercise. Clinical evidence for all three strongly shows that they are a significant positive impact on both cancer patients undergoing treatment and those who have completed treatment.

The attitude portion of the three pillars is SISU. It is a Finnish concept, (I am Finnish Canadian) and it applies to everything.  It is a  strength of will and the courage to persevere. Click on the link for the complete definition.

The second component of the three pillars is Diet.
This means eating as “clean” and organic as possible, with an emphasis upon fresh vegetables and limiting red meat regardless of its origin. Once again click on the link to view more.

The third "leg" of my three pillars is Exercise. Once again, clinical studies have shown that this is very important for both cancer patients undergoing treatment and for those in a recovery stage. My approach employs a HITT,   (High- Intensity Interval Training) exercise routine. It is not easy, but it does work on multiple levels from physical to mental. Click on the link to view more.
